Editing and Regenerating Character Images

Looking to make changes to your character images? Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Go to Movie Machine and select your project.

Step 2: Navigate to the Director’s Notes section. You’ll see the Characters panel.

Step 3: Select the character you want to edit.

Step 4: Choose how you’d like to make changes:

Option A: Revise Image (Modify the current image)

Click Revise Image.

A box will appear asking what kind of change you’d like to make.

A box will appear asking what kind of change you’d like to make.

Use Edit Image to tweak the existing image while keeping the base character.

You can adjust details like hair color, clothing, facial features, or other visual elements using prompts and (optionally) a reference image.

Describe clearly what you want to change about the current image.

Option B: Regenerate Image (Create a new image)

Choose Regenerate if you want a completely new version of the character.

This creates a fresh image from the ground up based on the character description.

Step 5: When you’re done, click Save to apply your changes.
