How to Add a Character in Movie Machine

  1. Go to the Movie Machine and open your project.
  2. Under Director’s Notes, you’ll find the Settings section. Click on Add Setting.

  1. A setting input box will appear. Enter your setting's details here.
    • Be specific and detailed so the AI generates something close to what you envision.
    • It’s recommended to also include the style under Additional Notes (e.g., “Comic-style animation”) so your new setting matches the style of your other settings.

  1. After filling in the description and adding any extra notes, click Create Setting.
  2. Your new setting will now be generated and displayed in your Settings List.

Note:

The Movie Machine sometimes creates duplicate versions of the same character, causing confusion in storyboards. You can now merge characters to fix this.

Simply open the character you want to merge, click Merge, and select the other character. The images from both will be combined into one, ensuring all mentions and edits apply to a single character across the storyboard.
