Storyboards: What They Are and How to Edit Them

Storyboards are visual blueprints of your film. They represent each shot in sequence and allow you to:

  • Preview what the AI will generate.
  • Edit dialogue or actions before generating a shot.
  • Skip or delete unnecessary scenes.

Step #1: First go to the Storyboard tab in your Movie Machine Project:

Step #2: Then, click into any scene to view all of the shots inside of the scene.

Pro Tip: You can open up Advanced Details about the scene to view the purpose, stakes, and dramatic question for each scene that was automatically generated by the Movie Machine.

Step #3: Lastly, click into a specific shot to make any edits to it.

Getting storyboards that you are satisfied with BEFORE generating video is the #1 way to make a better film while saving huge expenses along the way.

Luckily, Creatorwood automatically builds your storyboard for you—saving you over 100 hours compared to doing it manually—while still giving you full control to review and edit everything before generating your video.
