Payments in the Movie Machine

When you pay for services inside the Movie Machine (e.g., story ingestion, shot generation), any applicable sales tax or VAT is charged to you as the creator. You pay these taxes to Creatorwood at the time of purchase, and we handle sending the payments to the appropriate tax authorities.

Sales of Your Movies and Shows

When viewers purchase your movies or episodes on the Creatorwood platform, Creatorwood is responsible for collecting, remitting, and reporting all required sales tax and VAT. This means:

• Viewers will see any applicable tax added at checkout.
• Creatorwood automatically collects these taxes at no extra charge to you as a creator.
• We file and send the tax payments to the correct local, state, or international authorities.

What This Means for You

• You never have to calculate or send sales tax or VAT for viewer purchases yourself.
• Your payouts are net of taxes collected, so your dashboard shows exactly what you earned.
